OPHTHALMIC SURGERY
Our ophthalmic surgeons offer the ultimate in surgical expertise and advanced treatment methods to address any type of eye condition:
- CATARACT SURGERY - A cataract is a clouding of the crystalline lens of the eye. Surgery is the only method to improve vision that was altered by a cataract. The Center’s ophthalmic surgeons use latest-generation artificial lenses (implants) to correct any vision disorders.
- CORRECTIVE SURGERY BY IMPLANTS
- GLAUCOMA SURGERY
Glaucoma is an eye disease that causes progressive atrophy of the optic nerve due to high intraocular pressure. Surgery designed to lower and regulate eye pressure can prevent glaucoma-related eye damage by creating a drainage channel in the sclera. - VITREORETINAL AND MACULAR SURGERY
The Center’s Retina Unit performs surgical treatments to correct intraocular conditions such as retinal detachment, subretinal hemorrhaging, macular holes, diabetic retinopathy and vascular occlusions. - STRABISMUS SURGERY: CORRECTION OF EYE MISALIGNMENTS
- OPHTHALMIC PLASTIC SURGERY
