Gynaecology is the term given to diagnostic processes and treatments for conditions that occur in women. Clinique de Genolier offers a full range of services comprising gynaecological surgery, surgery of the female urinary tract, breast health, diagnostic imaging and oncology.

Obstetric consultations, gynaecological check-ups, consultations for medical problems encountered during adolescence, sterility, gynaecological oncology and breast health can be provided on an out-patient basis.

Endoscopic gynaecological surgery enables disorders of the vagina and uterus to be treated on a less invasive basis. Laparoscopy provides minimally invasive surgical access to the ovaries, fallopian tubes and uterus.

Surgery of the urinary tract is used to relieve incontinence, a common problem in women over a certain age and in women who have given birth to several children.

Gynaecological oncology involves the diagnosis and treatment of tumours and is carried out in collaboration with the Clinic’s interdisciplinary team.

Treatment of breast cancer has improved greatly following the development of conservative surgical techniques, and nowadays tumours can be removed without removing the breast.
